Sisyphos

Only a few minutes from the east traffic junction of the city and the friedrichshain “kiez”, the chimneys of a historic cogeneration plant grow up to the sky. Those are in responsibility for the atmosphere of a more undiscovered part of Berlin. It still offers freedom, which already vanished from many other parts of the city.
While summertime it is possible to dance under the open sky in a huge outside area. At night visitors stream into the inner of the former “dog-cake”-factory. There they find electronic dance music in all different facets. Aside of the dance floor the Sisyphos offers an extensive program of shows, performances and art. From acrobatics and burlesque to “Varieté” and magic.
