Lea Pischke

Lea Pischke holds a degree in fine art from the School of Fine Art in Marseille, France, and a Master's in music technology from the School of Perfoming Arts at Bath Spa University in the UK. After successfully participating in the DanceIntensive programme at Tanzfabrik Berlin, Lea completed her education in choreography at SEAD in Salzburg, Austria, and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, Belgium.
Lea choreographed Justice Porte Un Bandeau (Austria), How to Shoot Yourself in the Foot (Austria), Interferenz 4Min22Sek (Germany), Spectral Schematics (Belgium, France, Germany), amongst others. From 2012 to 2017, she collaborated with Cologne-based media artist Michael Baumann on various multimedia projects (Zeughaus series).
The focus in Lea's work is often put on the phenomenon of structures, be they of a political, linguistic or purely semantic kind.
