Get ready to attack! Using woman and fiction, we will test out the best defense against a feeling of powerlessness, exemplary abstinence and an unfair society as physical empowerment. Moving along an axis of true stories and moving interviews about defensive actions, YOU ARE A WEAPON provides a sweaty conflict as well as a performative safe space.

Frauen und Fiktion are researchers who open up new space for thought experiments on the topic of being a woman at the interface of theory and theater. Ihre künstlerische Praxis basiert auf dem Rohmaterial aus intensiven Recherche-Prozessen, welches sie fokussieren, neu verknüpfen und in einem Hör- und Bildraum performen. Their artistic practice is based on the raw material generated through intensive research processes which they focus, make new associations with and perform in auditory and visual space.
