Workshop Café - Haus der Statistik

The former Haus der Statistik, located at Alexanderplatz in the center of Berlin, has stood empty for 10 years. Thanks to an initiative consisting of an alliance between a variety of different Berlin-based individuals, social and cultural institutions and societies, artist collectives, architects, foundations and associations, plans to sell the building to investors and tear it down were stopped in 2015. As one of the first pioneering users of the building, the 2019 PAF invites the visiting industry professionals to the freshly gutted building to be informed about the pilot project over a morning coffee by the supporters of the initiative.
