Welcome - Berlin’s Independent Performing Arts Community

Today, Berlin’s independent performing arts community constitutes a large and active network of artists, groups, performance venues and initiatives. The diversity of artistic aesthetics and signatures is constantly growing and the community is also continuously in motion in terms of cultural policy as well, in order to improve the working and living conditions of the members of the community and strengthen the structures created. Production manager Elena Polzer will provide a brief overview of the historic beginnings of the community as well as speak about current developments and questions.
