Spoken Word Theater

"Dreck" by Robert Schneider

Oleg Mirzak & Timur Isik

This piece comes from a time where the so-called refugee crisis could not even be imagined, just as little as the possibility that a political party could emerge and move into all 16 state parliaments of the Federal Republic of Germany with xenophobic slogans contemptible of humanity. Dreck examines xenophobia and hostility toward foreigners from the perspective of a person seeking refuge.
