Puppet/Object Theater

Das Kind auf der Liste

Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg e.V.

The Sinto boy Willy Blum was 16 years old when he was murdered in Auschwitz. In order to be with his younger brother, he voluntarily put his name on the deportation list. Very little was known about Willy and his family for quite some time. If one starts to conduct research, one comes across the story of the Blums, a family of puppeteers, as well as the story of the silence surrounding a complete group of victims in the years following the Second World War, the Sinti and Roma.
