Ingo was born in 1961 on the day the Berlin Wall went up. The construction of this “antifascist protective wall” determined the course of his life. A family history questions the sense of walls that separate us and must always be built up again. Four theater authors from the east and west have developed a piece about life in a divided city over the course of a collective writing process.

As privately run theater, we have been able to establish ourselves within Berlin’s extremely dynamic theater community as one of the region’s leading theaters for young audiences.
