Theater ohne Probe (ToP)

Theater ohne Probe (ToP), which translates into "theater without rehearsal", has been an established part of Berlin’s improvised theater community for more than 10 years, and is specialized in performing full-length improvised stage plays. Theater ohne Probe developed the form Im Sinne von Brecht ("in the spirit of Brecht") which uses the means and methods inspired by Bertolt Brecht´s theory of epic theater to improvise upon current sociopolitical topics. In addition, Theater ohne Probe currently features other formats such as The Naked Stage,
or Manche mögen´s ToP! (Some like it ToP!) to improvise stage plays.
