Philipp Joy Reinhardt

Philipp Joy Reinhardt works as an actor, performer and filmmaker. From 2011-2015, he studied acting at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. He worked at Theater Dortmund, Münchner Kammerspiele, Residenztheater München, Münchner Volkstheater, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Schauspiel Frankfurt and Staastheater Kassel. In 2016 (Tyrannis, Staatstheater Kassel) and 2019 (Das Internat, Theater Dormund) he was invited to Theatertreffen Berlin with productions by Ersan Mondtag. Since the winter semester 2017/2018, he has pursued a bachelor’s in fine arts with a focus on film in the class of Prof. Jutta Koether at HFBK Hamburg. In 2018, his solo piece Bellybutton + Performance was shown at Kampnagel Hamburg as part of the Hauptsache-Frei-Festival. The sarting point for his performances and movies is autofiction. In 2019, he is part of productions at Lichthof-Theater Hamburg, Volksbühne Berlin and Treibstoff Theatertage Basel.
