OfW

OfW (legal German abbreviation for without permanent residency) is a collaboration of independent theater makers in Berlin. Inspired by stories and the places where they are told, their projects dig into the relation between the actors and audience in a mix of theater, performance and installation. Thus far, the group has produced, in different constellations, At the Bottom (2017) - an English-German free adaptation of The Lower Depths (Maxim Gorky) and Opdakh (2018), a project about the history of the former Jewish orphanage that was presented during the 2018 Berlin Performing Arts Festival.
