Novoflot

Novoflot is an independent opera company in Berlin. More than 30 world premieres and experimental opera projects have been created since 2002. Novoflot are: Sven Holm (direction), Vicente Larrañaga (musical direction), Malte Ubenauf (dramaturgy) and Dörte Wolter (production management). Novoflot's production and performance venues include the Hamburg State Opera, the Ultraschall Festival, the Warschauer Herbst / Teatr Wielki Festival, the Théâtre National du Luxembourg, the Trafó in Budapest, the Transmediale, the Radialsystem V, the Sophiensaele, the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, Hamburger Bahnhof, the Akademie der Künste, Theater im Delphi, the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Gare du Nord Basel and the Schauspielhaus Zürich. In 2014 Novoflot was awarded the George Tabori Prize.
